I knew there are files for that (blinking) in losv. An exmaple of that: Hidden in losv.. but cant remember to spot it in action. Maybe I did, long time ago, anyway now it felt like a surprise (for me).
In case it is a surprise for you as well, have a look:
it appears that usa soldiers, few vietnamese villagers and only 1 from nva, vc - the officer has this option working. Also only in single player mode (as far as I checked).
